So, where was the hiccup that some reported on the Marriott Parkside? I did not see anything out of the ordinary. We had a pleasant drive back to the hotel, checked in at valet parking, then went to the car to drive home. Once we got there, we only waited about 5 minutes, then Gerry arrived to pick us up. The representative told us where to go to get the shuttle. D., our initial driver, said to us to do when we got our luggage, we went down to ground transportation and called the hotel. Upon our return, and remembering what Ms. We boarded the shuttle and arrived at our flight within a few minutes of getting underway. Set to start off on the trip, I parked my vehicle, went up to the desk to check in, and was greeted with smile and good morning! I was told the shuttle would be leaving in 15 minutes. Then many of the reviews stated that it took almost an hour or more to get a shuttle to get back to their vehicle. Many reviews also stated that it took 30 mins to an hour to get to the airport, which I thought was insane. I was concerned when I read that many parking sites stated "valet parking," but I wanted my keys when I left for my flight. Make sure to book directly on the web site to get points - not through third party reservation sites. Everyone is friendly, rooms are always comfortable and its always a great value. If the app could be modified to show PU (puckup points) I think that would help a lot. As an FYI, you get picked up in the Courtesy Puckup zones at terminal 4 (Sky Harbor) which is along the thru traffic road, to the far right, very end of the terminal. The tracking app helps a lot, but not knowing where to get picked up at is frustrating. Need an I-pad or bigger to read the mail.Drop off at airport was right at the door but pickup is not clear. Because there is too much in the email, it renders the print too small to read on a phone. Email confirmation is okay and, of course, an expectation, but they cram too much in the email. Making reservations on-line wasnt difficult, but modifying those reservations was challanging. Price is great when you compare it to an Uber or taxi to the airport. I refuse to pay someone to argue with me. I told her I was not paying bottom line she finally corrected the price but that should have been done from the beginning since I was given the ticket. so instead of honoring their mistake she wants to argue with me and say i can call corporate. REVIEWS OF PREFLIGHT PARKING PHOENIX FULLso when I came to park Saturday I was told the roof top was full and asked if I had reservations and I said no and was told I was given a free upgrade and when I return to take the ticket that was handed to me saying free upgrade to the office so they can adjust the price. and everyone is normally friendly, and out of all the years I only had to go to the office 3 times with today one issue with the ticket one because I drove another car up to get some things out my car so they had to cancel the charge, but today was different it went from great to bad, and I will no longer be parking here. I been parking here for a few years and sometimes twice a month and its always been good. when I got home to take a look at the picture I took of the hose sticking out of my gas tank the attendant had deleted it from my phone when I showed him!!!!!!!! I also brought this to the same attendants attention and he just smiled and said your not getting out of here until you pay it! Folks this place is a bait and switch nightmare stay clear for your own sakes! P.s. When I went to leave the machine said I owed another $21.00 dollars before I could leave. When I brought it to the attention of the attendant he said well which day did it happen we can’t go back through six days of video to find out!!!!! I said I give up because it was very apparent he didn’t care! I Sid to my self your out a half tank a gas just leave and never park here again. It ended up breaking off in tank and so now I have to pay a mechanic to get that out. When we got back after our six day vacation we found a hose sticking out of our gas tank!!!! Someone had siphoned gas out of our car! Over 10 gallons which means they would of had to do it twice with a five gallon container! Where is security? I took a picture of the hose and then tried to pull it out. When we got there, there is no clear signs where you are suppose to park and there is no one there to advise you. ![]()
